Keir Mather, Labour candidate in the forthcoming general election (our MP until the election was called) officially opened the Community Hub on Saturday, 15 June 2024.
These photographs show Keir Mather at the choir’s table with Jenny, Sandra and Lynne.
He was very interested in our choir, where we sing and the fundraising we have been involved in. He took one of our ‘business cards’ (his words) and took a photo of the poster advertising our performance at Selby Abbey.
He said he would come along one evening to join us.
